Louisiana Supplemental Course Academy
For over 30 years, Cambridge has served seven million students through nationwide, campus-based partnerships. Our face-to-face and online programs provide over 150 hours of study materials and include ACT®, PSAT/NMSQT®, WorkKeys®, and HiSET® test preparation; college and career preparation and success programs; and our Non-Negotiable Skills for College and Career Readiness programs. Computer-generated lesson plans pinpoint the most efficient instructional strategies and appropriate level curriculum for large score increases and college scholarships. Cambridge online programs blend web-based curriculum with an in-class teacher.
Materials are developed by the world’s most prolific test preparation author, Tom Martinson, a Harvard law graduate who has written more national courses and individual titles than anyone in the world. The Research, Evaluation and Accountability division ranked Cambridge #1 overall for highest math, highest reading, highest attendance and lowest dropout rate. ACT® Test Prep
Cambridge’s teacher-led, face-to-face ACT® test prep course provides students with 150 hours of material detailing test content, mechanics, and strategies, as well as timed practice quizzes, four full-length practice exams, and detailed explanations. At the beginning and end of every Cambridge course, whether in person or online, students take a pre-test and post-test. These tests ensure that the students have as authentic a testing experience as possible and provide both student and teacher with accurate baseline scores and skill gaps. Pre-test assessment reports allow the teacher to most effectively address needed skills and increase score growth. The post-test provides an overall summary of growth and allows for final practice and improvement before taking the actual ACT® test.
In 1990, Cambridge was founded on the principle that all students, regardless of background, should have the opportunity to achieve test scores that reflect their true potential and ability. As a leading innovator in education, Cambridge has partnered with over 4,000 schools nationwide to provide highly effective programs and materials that help students achieve dramatic and rapid improvement in ACT® test scores and college and career readiness skills.
