Texas Success Initiative Assessment Package

• Online Practice Test
  Just like the real Texas Success Initiative (TSI) Assessment, Cambridge’s practice TSI test is online, adaptive, and untimed and provides a baseline score for students.

  The two-step testing process begins with the adaptive practice test. If students don’t pass the adaptive test, they take a diagnostic test to determine specific weaknesses to address. Teachers are able to view each student’s scores and see classroom results at the item level on the diagnostic tests.

• Credit READY! Prep for the TSI Assessment textbook
  Cambridge’s Credit READY! Prep for the TSI Assessment textbook contains 18 hours of content and lessons that systematically introduce students to tested topics, refresh required skills, and teach key strategies to boost scores. Each section begins with an introduction to the test so that students learn what is tested and gain familiarity with the test’s structure. Students then complete short lessons and work through examples to fill skill gaps and increase scores. Finally, graded practice helps verify student understanding and increase scores.

  The Score Booster for the TSI Assessment provides 18 hours of online, level-based practice to ensure student mastery. Both subjects (English Language Arts and Reading and Math) feature six quizzes, with two quizzes each at the basic, intermediate, and advanced levels. Each quiz includes 20 questions and a mix of question types so students can practice each of the skills needed for test day. Quizzes can be taken more than once and progress monitored in real time. Upon quiz completion, students learn the percent of items they answered correctly and are given feedback about how likely they are to pass the real TSI Assessment.
